DERRICK E. LAW

Over 25 years of diversified and progressive networking, data processing, management, and sales experience. Strong skills in the analysis, network design, and implementation of network operating system, application software, employee development, LAN/WAN trouble shooting, information processing and technical support.  Skilled in communication with people on many different levels including training, user support, project management and new technology deployments. Able to manage projects independently or with an integrated team.

Derrick Law has been involved in numerous governmental projects including:  (a) Irvington Housing Authority of (b) The City of East Orange Housing Authority (c) The Township of Irvington, NJ, (d) The City of Orange Township Orange Police Department (e) City of Elizabeth Police Department.

Derrick’s history of working for private corporations, large international corporations and his experience with governmental entities, schools and housing developments provides him with a diverse background enabling him to understand all aspects of your individualized needs. Prior to creating NetTarius Technology Solutions, Inc., in 2000, Derrick was the Chief Technology Officer / IT Director / Account Executive for One Source Group Inc.  Derrick’s responsibilities included: determining long term corporate-wide information needs and developing overall strategies for information needs, systems development, and hardware acquisition and integration.

Coinciding with his position as CTO and IT Director for One Source Group, Inc, Derrick was the Chief Information Officer for Telecommunications Inc. prior to becoming Once Source Group. In the CIO position, Derrick had a proven track for ability to facilitate individuals and teams to problem solve and achieve corporate goals, background in application development (business analysis and quality analysis) and achieved results in analyzing systems and implementing competitive technologies in a cost effective manner.

From 1995 to 2000 Derrick was employed by Aon Consulting Group as a Regional Network Manager. During his tenure, Derrick was responsible for the daily operational support for a 5000 node LAN/WAN network. Elements included infrastructure and network upgrades, system maintenance, help desk management, remote connectivity and protocol management, user training, server tuning, Internet connectivity, and disaster contingency planning and network security analysis. Derrick managed a 1.5 million dollar capital budget, lease equipment contracts and technology assessment for outsourcing.

Using his entrepreneurial skills, Derrick not only understands the big picture, he knows what it takes to get from the beginning of a project to a finished project with integrated superior solutions and all the happenings in between.  From 1991 to 1995 Derrick was a Senior LAN/WAN Specialist for Network Imaging System Inc / PE Systems Military OCEAN Terminal.  As a contractor for the military Derrick’s responsibilities was managing (50) Novell 3.11/3.12 file servers (1500) node WAN/LAN nationally and internationally, installed (8) 3.11 and (4) 3.12 file servers, (5) in satellite locations connecting them with CISCO routers.  Derrick assisted in setup of TCP/IP communication with HP6000, SCO UNIX, and Honeywell mainframe. 


EDWARD STAMP

Edward's 16 years of corporate experience he offers to NetTarius has been groomed through coming up through the ranks of corporate administration. His broad ranged knowledge involving corporate processes, procedures and the art of wearing many hats simultaneously makes Ed an excellent addition to the Executive Team of NetTarius. Ed’s communication ability with all levels of the corporate ladder, including end-users, project and office management demonstrate his skills in the understanding of needs of staff and executives. 

Ed’s experience in development, repairs, design monitoring and maintenance of IT divisions demonstrates his knowledge identifying the first rate products, services, deployment, and technical support available for implementation to meet not only the information technological needs of organizations but also their budget demands.

Ed’s year of working with Kekst and Company from the startup of their Information Technology branch provides him the in-depth realization of what it takes to kick-start an IT department. Ed supported approximately 60 users doing desktop support, printer maintenance and repair, copy machine maintenance and repair, maintaining the network, monitoring Veritas backup, monitoring Exchange 5.5 server, NewsEdge Server (News feed) and FP server. Ed’s comprehension of the budget factors, the planning, actual deployment, trouble shooting and maintenance affords him the advantage of identifying problems before they occur. While spearheading the growth of the IT branch, Ed maintained numerous other corporate responsibilities including administration skills of ordering supplies, mail room processes, accounting responsibility and overall office management.

Ed’s dual responsibilities for NetTarius include his skills of deploying surveillance camera installation, structured cabling, SBS server installation and setup, network setup, wireless radio deployment and configuration, RFID and GPS tracking setup installation on transportation buses and desktop support as well as his corporate responsibilities in the role of Chief Operating Officer.

Ed has an established history of being able to work independently and within a team atmosphere making his seasoned knowledge an asset to NetTarius. This history has proven itself by his demonstration of knowing what needs to be done and making it happen.  Whether on an end-user level or strategizing on corporate issues, Ed balances his skill sets accordingly. 

The whole time Ed has been in the IT arena, he has continually developed relationships with vendors and in the technological environment. These relationships will bring NetTarius, an extended arm of references and skills set to call upon. 

Ed’s disciplinary aptitude is derived from his experience in the United States Marine Corps where he received specialized training.
